Pay

$18–$22 an hour for full-time positions.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and MVR check
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• At least 1+ year of formal experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or pesticide application
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds routinely
• Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods
• Ability to bend and stoop continually
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks
• Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to motivate others
• Must comply with Dragonfly’s policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Report to the field supervisor
• Manage the maintenance of lakes, ponds, and other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs)
• Perform mowing, weed-eating, and string trimming on slopes and basins of ponds
• Concrete work, including mixing bags of concrete by hand and mixing buckets of grout
• Stabilization tasks such as carrying and rolling out erosion control matting, spreading seed, and wheat straw by hand
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks
• Perform work in waders and muck boots
• Collect company-owned equipment and tools at the end of the day
• Assist in other divisions such as inspection repair as needed

• Mowers (stand-on, walk-behind, Ventrac)
• Edgers, string trimmers, and chain saws
• Backpack blowers and sprayers
• Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes, tree chipper, and pruning tools
