$20–$25 an hour (full-time)

Requirements

• 2+ years in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or erosion control
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds on a routine basis
• Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
• Ability to work on slopes, near water, and in various weather conditions
• Results-driven with strong attention to detail
• Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures
• Great communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences, including the Operations Team, subcontractors, vendors, and others
• Team-oriented and aligned with Dragonfly's values: Quality Focus, Takes Ownership, and Growth Oriented

Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Manager
• Manage the maintenance of lakes and ponds, and other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs)
• Mowing, weed-eating, and string trimming slopes and basins of ponds
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads
• Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day
• Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings
• Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company
• Safe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members
• Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors, and/or subcontractors
• Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:
  • Mowers – stand-on, walk-behind, Ventrac
  • Edgers, string trimmers, and chainsaws
  • Backpack blowers and sprayers
  • Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes, and pruning tools
