Mowing, Aeration, and Fertilization Specialist

Naturescape of Rockford, IL is seeking a Mowing, Aeration, and Fertilization Specialist to provide outstanding services for residential and commercial properties.

Pay & Compensation

• Starting Wage: $17/hr
• Expected Average: $17/hr - $24/hr
• Top Earners: Earn an extra $15,000+ per year in performance bonuses
• Weekly Bonus Potential: Most specialists earn a bonus every week

Responsibilities

• Manage a route and transform landscapes across the service area
• Perform precision mowing, aeration, and fertilization on residential and commercial properties
• Act as a consultant and problem-solver for customers, assessing lawn health and landscape needs
• Communicate clearly and kindly with customers to ensure they are happy, informed, and confident in the services provided
• Adapt to seasonal changes and pivot to snow removal in winter
• Engage in continuous learning and development, supported by the company’s training

Schedule

Typically work 10-hour days, 4 days per week (with variations due to weather and customer needs).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• No state pesticide certifications or licenses required
• Motivated with a desire to learn
• No prior lawn care or landscape experience required; paid training provided
