Moving Consultant Surveyor

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs surveys for local household goods moves as well as office and industrial relocations
• Sends out quotes on surveys and follows up with customers
• Answers any queries which the client may have about the moving process
• Answers phone and walk-in inquiries for moving services
• Possess prospecting, establishing, and maintaining relationships with customers to create opportunities for future and sustainable business
• Periodically conduct job check-ins with customers to ensure high quality of service
• Afford assistance in the training of the replacement military surveyor
• Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Required Skills And Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
• Ability to operate a tablet PC during face-to-face surveys
• Must have valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to perform surveys
• Most have a friendly and positive attitude
• Able to work some weekends or over time as needed
• Adequate attention to detail

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A strong customer service experience is required
• An understanding of the island, traffic patterns and travel times and distances
