About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic trainer to join our team. You will work with the Moving and Handling Manager and the team of Advisors and Trainers to provide and co-ordinate training and support for Moving and Handling across NHS Highland.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Moving and Handling training to staff
- Provide on-site coaching, support and competency assessment in clinical and non-clinical settings
- Ensure safe, effective and person-centred moving and handling practice across our diverse workforce
Requirements
- Degree in a health or social care discipline or equivalent relevant qualifications
- Experience working in a health or social care setting
- Experience delivering training or education
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- The ability to adapt training to diverse staff groups
- A good understanding of moving and handling principles and legislation
- The ability to demonstrate safe techniques and handle training equipment
- The ability to travel throughout NHS Highland
Qualifications
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
