Safety and Support Trainer

About the role

Join 360 Behavioral Health as a Safety & Support Trainer, where you'll play a key role in preparing our clinical teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live virtual safety and crisis prevention training.
• Train new Direct Support Professionals during onboarding.
• Facilitate annual crisis intervention recertification courses.
• Coach and support Behavior Interventionists through hands-on skills training.
• Travel to California locations to provide in-person training as needed.
• Partner with local clinical teams to improve safety and training outcomes.
• Track training completion and maintain compliance documentation.
• Help enhance training materials and learning experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Behavior Interventionist and/or Direct Support Professional utilizing ABA.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and interventions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
• Comfortable facilitating both virtual and in-person training.
• Able to travel throughout California as needed.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds when assisting clients.
• Able to successfully complete LiveScan, TB screening, and employment verification.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain Crisis Intervention Trainer Certification.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
