About the role
The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking an Academic Movement Disorders Specialist, who is BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders with knowledge in subspecialty-specific diagnostics and therapeutics including brain mapping, DBS programming, and chemodenervation. The Specialist will provide patient care in the Movement Disorders Program with more than 4000 outpatient visits per year as well as participate in DBS and Chemodenervation Program.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Movement Disorders Program with more than 4000 outpatient visits per year as well as participate in DBS and Chemodenervation Program.
- Participate in research and educational activities including resident and student teaching.
Requirements
- BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
- Knowledge in subspecialty-specific diagnostics and therapeutics including brain mapping, DBS programming, and chemodenervation.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine degree.
- Current medical license to practice medicine in the state of Nebraska.
