About the role

Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 depending upon skills, experience, and certifications. The Motorcycle Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and service maintenance of motorcycles and ATVs while following Company guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and service motorcycles and ATVs systems and components.
  • Complete warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform all routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot problems with electrical systems, engines, brakes, transmissions, etc.
  • Communicate timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor.
  • Install new parts as needed.
  • Repair components as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to create a safe work environment where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose the root of problems.
  • Ability to identify proper tools and equipment needed for repairs.
  • Willing and able to communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the status of repair orders.
  • Highly professional, organized, and dependable.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions, and meet goals.
  • Maintain and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years related technician experience in the powersports industry required.
  • Formal training in motorcycle mechanics program highly preferred.
  • Factory certified from Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, or Suzuki highly preferred.
  • Unrestricted valid Florida driver license with motorcycle endorsement required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Excellent work history.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
