Motor Grader/Blade Operator II
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to complete tasks such as grading, leveling, clearing debris, digging trenches, and pushing materials.
- Shape terrain, move large volumes of earth, rocks, and rubble according to blueprints and construction plans.
- Perform rough and finish grading with high precision.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Perform basic routine operator maintenance, lubrication, and fueling of equipment.
- Cookordinate machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
- Operate machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- At a minimum, the Motor Grader/Blade Operator II must have 3+ years of relevant, proven, experience operating construction equipment.
- National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Certification is preferred.

About the Role
Louisiana Bridge Builders (“LBB”) is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD).
