About the role

The Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby specialty provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing therapeutic communication to ensure a safe, confidential, and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Document care plans and patient progress
• Demonstrate technical skills and follow established procedures
• Apply critical thinking to patient care decisions
• Coordinate care to support the hospital’s mission and promote positive patient outcomes

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited nursing program (B.S. or A.S.)
• At least 1 year of RN experience
• Preferred experience in Mother Baby specialty
• Current BLS certification
• Licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Compact State
