Mosquito Technician
Responsibilities
- Picking up and dropping off your company truck before and after your shift in Doraville, GA
- Driving a company truck along a scheduled route and spraying all areas of the customers’ yards with the mosquito control solution
- Only working with mosquitos for mosquito control, no other creepy crawly bugs/pests/insects
- Answering customer questions/concerns when visiting their home
- Mixing and spraying mosquito control chemicals
- Carrying a 60 lbs. spray backpack
- Using your own smartphone for the job (downloading/using different apps, no customers that you need to call)
- Working a majority of your day outside in different weather conditions
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and make sure it and all other equipment is kept clean
- Lots of moving around — regularly walking, crouching, and moving around outside
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Customer-facing experience preferred
