Responsibilities
- Support the NPI team primarily, with secondary support to the Production floor on an as-needed basis.
- Perform various tasks as assigned by NPI Engineering Manager, or Value Stream Lead (VSL) when applicable.
- Build pilot assemblies using written instructions or prints for projects from Engineering Manager.
- Perform verification operations on pilot jobs.
- Debug and offer ideas for assembly instructions, fixtures and testing.
- Draft detail drawings or sketches to request parts/tooling fabrication by machine shop/maintenance or outside vendors.
- Maintain lot traceability of assembly items, documents and procedures.
- Generate engineering tests (ET’s) on jobs, with consultation from Engineering Manager.
- Document yield and job rates on parts transitioning from pilot to production.
- Offer training on pilot job operations to operators for production.
- Assist with the transition from pilot to production.
- Assist engineers to troubleshoot product yield problems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three to five years related experience and/or training.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products or equivalents.

Physical Requirements
- Required to talk or hear.
- Required to pass eye tests.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Required to use finger, handle, feel & reach with hands & arms.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Pay Range
$24 - $28/hr.
