MORTGAGE SPECIALIST

About the role

Join our Incredible Team of Mortgage Specialists at Park City Credit Union. We help members achieve their financial goals by providing expert guidance and exceptional service throughout the mortgage lending process.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit new residential and commercial mortgage business
• Sell Park City Credit Union products and services to members
• Interview mortgage applicants, analyze financial and credit information, and guide members through the lending process from application to closing
• Maintain expertise in lending programs, underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and mortgage products
• Develop new mortgage lending opportunities through referrals, networking, community outreach, and relationship-building activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals, contractors, builders, attorneys, and other referral partners
• Represent Park City Credit Union through community involvement and business development initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of conventional mortgage lending, mortgage processing, or related experience
• Experience working with secondary market mortgage products and programs
• Thorough understanding of residential mortgage products and lending practices
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and business development skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and organization
• Commitment to providing exceptional member service and maintaining professional ethics
• Must have or be able to obtain a National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration number
