Mortgage Processor

About the role

One of Newbold’s top clients seeks experienced Mortgage Processors to manage residential mortgage loans through the processing lifecycle while providing a high level of service to members and internal partners. This role is responsible for maintaining an active pipeline of approximately 30–40 loans, reviewing documentation, coordinating on outstanding requirements, and keeping files on track toward established closing timelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on mortgage processing experience, understands PMI requirements, and can independently manage a busy workload while contributing to a close-knit, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active pipeline of approximately 30–40 mortgage loans
• Review documentation and coordinate on outstanding requirements
• Keep files on track toward established closing timelines

Requirements

• Hands-on mortgage processing experience with a solid working knowledge of the residential mortgage process
• Working knowledge of Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) requirements and processes
• Proven ability to independently manage an active pipeline of approximately 30–40 mortgage loans
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills with the ability to meet aggressive closing timelines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Ability to work primarily onsite in Suffolk County, NY

Pay

$25–$30.00/hour
