About the role
Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist at Security National Bank. Play a key role in the early and middle stages of the mortgage loan process. Manage a pipeline of mortgage loan files, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and moving forward on time. Work closely with borrowers, Loan Officers, and third parties to gather documentation, resolve issues, and prepare files for underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Mortgage Loan Pipeline
- Independently manage a full pipeline of mortgage loan files from application through clear-to-close
- Process and evaluate mortgage applications within required timeframes
- Ensure all documentation meets FHA, VA, and conventional mortgage guidelines
- Communicate proactively with borrowers, Loan Officers, and third parties to resolve issues and protect closing timelines
- Identify missing documentation and follow up to keep loans progressing
- Submit complete loan files to underwriting for approval
- Ensure Accuracy & Compliance
- Review and verify borrower documentation, including income, assets, liabilities, and employment
- Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant loan files
- Obtain and clear underwriting conditions to prepare files for closing
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, self-motivated with strong organizational skills, team-oriented with a collaborative mindset. Experience in mortgage processing or lending preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience in mortgage processing or lending preferred.
