About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Partner / Loan Officer Assistant / Mortgage Processor Assistant to join our growing mortgage team serving the Detroit and Metro Detroit housing market.
This is an in-person position based in our Troy, Michigan office, supporting mortgage originations throughout Detroit, Wayne County, and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist Detroit-area borrowers with inquiries, follow-ups, and loan status updates
- Collect, review, and organize mortgage loan documentation (income, assets, credit, disclosures) to ensure files are complete and compliant
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate clear updates and guidance to help clients feel informed and confident throughout the home loan process
- Support Loan Officers and upper management with pipeline organization and workflow management
- Maintain compliance with mortgage lending guidelines and company standards
- Aid in managing a high-volume residential mortgage pipeline
Requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in a sales-driven, production-focused mortgage environment
- Confident with phone-based communication and customer interaction
- Interest in mortgage lending, real estate, banking, or financial services
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to our Troy, MI office
- Ability to work onsite in Troy, Michigan
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and procedures
