About the role

Elliman Capital is a boutique mortgage banker focused on providing exceptional service and efficiency. We serve discerning clients across New York and beyond, offering a full suite of mortgage products including conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, non-QM, and BPL loans. Our unique approach includes in-house underwriting, processing, and closing, which allows us to move quickly and efficiently compared to traditional lenders.

Responsibilities

• Generate and close mortgage loans within established guidelines and standards
• Manage a high-volume, deadline-driven pipeline while maintaining attention to detail
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources
• Utilize modern technology tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency
• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including the SAFE Act

Requirements

• Active NMLS license in New York (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Clean regulatory record with 2+ years of front-end origination experience
• Luxury/investor market experience preferred
• Established referral relationships
• Strong consultative and communication skills with a client-first focus
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Tech-proficient and comfortable working in a digital-first environment

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Understanding of mortgage industry trends and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
