We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Operations Specialist to assist our loan production specialists with appraisal reviews, investor underwriting submissions, preliminary title review, and other tasks as needed; disburse loans we close locally; assist with the appraisal desk; complete portfolio loans for imaging; manage our stale check processes; and provide back-up to the mortgage loan servicer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor loan pipeline and follow up on upcoming lock expirationsPrepare closing documents and support day-of-close activitiesCommunicate with loan originators, closing agents, title companies, and attorneysResolve outstanding documentation with closing partnersAssist with recording and filing documentsManage loan funding and disbursementsReturn final documents to borrowers after closingCoordinate appraisal orders and ensure policy complianceReview preliminary title work and identify issuesProvide backup support for appraisal functions EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent2 years professional office experienceKnowledge of Mortgage loan processesAccuracy and meticulous attention to detail requiredExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and ExcelAbility to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when neededTeam-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organizationService-oriented, polite, and respectfulAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion HOURS: Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
