Mortgage Loan Officer

About the role

The Mortgage Loan Officer at Arkansas Federal Credit Union is responsible for identifying mortgage needs, recommending solutions, and managing the entire loan process from application to closing.

Responsibilities

• Meet with members face-to-face or via phone/email to collect data and documentation.
• Evaluate financial and credit situations to determine eligibility.
• Provide pre-qualification information to borrowers and realtors.
• Prepare loan files for processing by gathering required documentation.
• Communicate with borrowers, realtors, and third parties throughout the process.
• Attend local closings at title closing offices.
• Work with branches to increase business in the community.
• Attend department and branch meetings as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts and perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related mortgage experience.
