About the role
The bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Manager to lead a department responsible for approximately $25 million in loan volume. The position is suitable for individuals with 3-5 years of mortgage lending experience, including both in-house and secondary market roles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of loan officers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and underwriting guidelines.
- Manage the loan portfolio, including underwriting, approval, and closing processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local real estate professionals and other stakeholders in the community.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute to the bank's long-term growth goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, banking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of mortgage lending experience, including both in-house and secondary market roles.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing mortgage lending.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
