Mortgage Loan Coordinator
The Mortgage Loan Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for scheduling refinancing closings and providing exceptional customer service to borrowers. Key responsibilities include:
- Calling and emailing borrowers within SLA to confirm scheduling information
- Reviewing loans to ensure proper closing disclosures are acknowledged
- Sending initial closing disclosures as needed if not all required parties were disclosed
- Providing excellent customer service to all borrowers
- Escalating loans to Loan Officers, closers, or processors if necessary
- Entering scheduling information correctly into the system
- Sending the scheduling email to the title company
- Reviewing loans in the pre-balance pipeline to pre-balance loans for processing
- Updating title fees in the system according to the fee sheet in the file
- Reviewing escrows and prepaid items to ensure they are set up correctly
- Monitoring the ALTA recon pipeline to reconcile the final signed CD and the final ALTA from the title company
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Prior mortgage industry experience is a plus
