Primary Purpose Of Job

Affords assistance to Loan Officers in performing a range of duties. Engages with customers, Loan Officers, and Loan Processing personnel to manage the origination and servicing of loans. Ensures tasks are executed accurately, promptly, and professionally to provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients.

  • Ensure the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and adhere to bank regulations regarding information security.

Essential Functions And Performance Areas

  • Collects data pertinent to the loan origination process, including obtaining credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, insurance information, flood certificates, Secretary of State searches, and other relevant documents;
  • Handles customer inquiries via phone, addressing questions about payoffs, changes of ownership, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other loan-related matters;
  • Prepares disbursement worksheets, loan documentation checklists, and other necessary communications to document the credit files;
  • Scans loan documentation and customer information into the core system in a timely manner;
  • Filing liens, including deeds of trust and notice of liens, in a timely manner to safeguard the Bank's interest in collateral;
  • Affirms compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HMDA and CRA;
  • Monitors and resolves outstanding issues on tracking reports related to title policies, vehicle titles, appraisals, and other documents;
  • Performs clerical tasks like filing, photocopying, faxing documents, scanning loan files, and managing office supplies;
  • Serves as a liaison between Loan Officers and the Loan Processing department to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma;
  • Previous experience in customer service or loan administration;
  • Knowledge of general banking policies and procedures;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
