Primary Purpose Of Job

Affords assistance to Loan Officers in performing various tasks. Engages with customers, Loan Officers, and Loan Processing personnel to facilitate the origination and servicing of loans. Ensures that all tasks are executed accurately, promptly, and professionally to provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients.

Essential Functions And Performance Areas

• Collects data pertinent to the loan origination process, including obtaining credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, insurance information, flood certificates, Secretary of State searches, and other relevant documents.
• Handles customer inquiries via phone, providing information about payoffs, changes of ownership, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other loan-related details.
• Prepares disbursement worksheets, loan documentation checklists, and other necessary communications to document the credit files accurately.
• Scans loan documentation and customer information into the core system promptly and organizes them accordingly.
• Fulfills lien filings for collateral protection, ensuring timely submission of deeds of trust, notice of liens, and other legal documents.
• Affirms compliance with regulatory requirements such as HMDA and CRA, assisting Loan Officers in ensuring adherence to these standards.
• Monitors and resolves outstanding issues from tracking reports, including title policies, vehicle titles, appraisals, and appraisal checklists, construction inspections, and other administrative tasks.
• Performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing documents, scanning loan files, and managing office supplies.
• Serves as a liaison between Loan Officers and the Loan Processing Department, facilitating smooth workflow and communication.

Qualifications

• Holds a High School Diploma.
• Has previous experience in customer service or loan administration.
• Is familiar with general banking policies and procedures.
