About the role

WSFS Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer for our WSFS Mortgage division. The Mortgage Loan Closer will prepare and review critical closing documents for mortgage home loans and work closely with title companies to ensure all policies and procedures are maintained.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Loan Processors to ensure accuracy of documents and submissions.
• Focus on mortgage assignment creation, including creating assignments, title searches, and understanding chain of title and vesting.
• Responsible for meeting strict closing deadlines.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required; Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Previous mortgage processing or closing experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements is strongly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using Windows and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment under time constraints.
• Proven track record of dependability and attendance.
• Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

Salary Range: $42,289.00 – $69,475.00. Individual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and other business needs. Eligible Associates may also receive discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
