Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Aid the Loan Officer in obtaining documentation from customers
  • Act as an interface between the Loan Officer and Operations to obtain required documentation
  • Work with Encompass, Blend, Xperience, and other systems as needed
  • Interface with customers as needed
  • Aid the Loan Officer in marketing efforts

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • At least 1 year experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor OR Mortgage Loan Officer
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.
  • Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
  • Occasionally drives
  • Frequently sits, stands, and walks

Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Development and Training

This position pays at least the applicable state minimum wage plus commission opportunities based on performance.
