Responsibilities
- Solicit new business from both present and prospective customers as well as follow up on mortgage referrals from other bank employees.
- Develop relationships with customers, realtors, builders, and community and civic organizations to promote mortgage loan opportunities.
- Generate new business.
- Represent the bank at closing.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the features and benefits of mortgage loan products and services and current mortgage lending regulations.
- Prior lending experience is preferred.
- Self-motivated and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
