About the role

The Mortgage Hybrid Processor role at Arvest involves managing complex mortgage loan applications, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, and maintaining a high degree of independence and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze loan files to ensure compliance with investor guidelines.
  • Engage directly with borrowers and stakeholders for ongoing communication and support during the closing process.
  • Update loan files with preliminary conditions and communicate these conditions to borrowers.
  • Proactively identify and obtain missing documentation from borrowers before loan submission.
  • Review new loan files pre and post-underwriting, prepare necessary documentation, and run AUS for accurate findings.
  • Monitor and address file alerts within the Loan Origination System (LOS) and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Order and monitor appraisals, notify the underwriter and appraisal team of any discrepancies, and manage assigned pipelines.
  • Run fraud reports, review for potential borrower and/or property fraud, and follow appropriate procedures for suspicious activity.
  • Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, and regulations, including internal procedures and controls.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 2 years of experience reviewing mortgage credit application files
  • 2 years of mortgage processing experience or equivalent
  • 1 year of processing government loan files or equivalent
  • 1 year of detailed contact with customers, realtors, and title companies
  • Working knowledge of all real estate regulations, including RESPA, TRID, TILA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Lending, Reg B (ECOA), Reg C (HMDA), and Flood Act, and Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines

Qualifications

  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members

Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of investor guidelines, loan programs, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to make independent loan decisions that adhere to AllRegs/Selling Guides/Lender Handbooks and Arvest Policies and Procedures
  • Proficiency in analyzing and calculating qualifying income
  • Experience with fraud reporting and following appropriate procedures for suspicious activity
  • Knowledge of real estate regulations and compliance with bank policies, laws, and regulations

Pay

Pay is based on a number of factors including the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge and skills, qualifications, and prior experience.

Schedule

Position is located at 4400 W Markham, Little Rock, AR 72205. Availability is needed Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.
