Mortgage Closer - Future Opportunities

Acrisure Mortgage, a leading residential mortgage lender, is seeking experienced Mortgage Closers for potential future opportunities within our organization. While we may not have an immediate opening, we are always interested in connecting with seasoned closers. Essential Job Functions The Loan Closers are responsible for ensuring the closing documents are prepared correctly, accurately and timely while maintaining a high level of customer service with both internal and external customers. Closers will audit the loan files and prepare closing documents based on internal guidelines and those established by FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and USDA. Loan closers should be experienced with purchase and refinances transactions for conventional, FHA, VA and USDA programs. Closers will also be trained in Construction Perm Loans, 203k, Loan Modifications and Bond Loans. We are a nationwide company and closers will need to be familiar with multi-state closing guidelines as well. This position reports directly to the Closing Manager and works closely with internal departments and external business partners. Duties Performing pre-closing audit of closing and compliance documentationPreparing and sending Closing Disclosure (CD) to settlement agent for collaboration Deliver CD to borrower within required timeframeReviewing Mavent Compliance report on every fileCompleting data entry in EncompassReviewing and clearing all “Prior to Closing” underwriting conditionsRequesting all “Prior to Funding” underwriting conditions from settlement agentGenerating and delivering closing documents to settlement agent Ensuring work quality adheres to company policy and proceduresEnsuring loans within assigned pipeline fund timelyAttending and participating in pipeline or team calls/meetingsDeveloping and cultivating great working relationships with sales, loan disclosure, processing, underwriting, funding, secondary and compliance teams and leadersDeveloping and cultivating great working relationships with key home builder partners and preferred title companies.Researching and responding timely to internal Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviewsResearching and responding timely to internal Post Closing reviews Required Experience 3+ years of mortgage closing experience.Must be able to close 65 loansKnowledge of Non-Conforming, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines and federal and state laws (e.g., TRID, TILA, ECOA and HMDA)Ability to read and interpret loan documents such as promissory notes, agency/investor and legal directives and other loan documentsCan define problems, collect data, establish facts and provide information to resolve the situation.Works well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.Able to apply basic math; calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.2-3yrs of Ellie Mae Encompass Loan Origination System Experience Acrisure Mortgage is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.
