Job Summary
Provides local Pulte Mortgage leadership, managing all aspects of divisional mortgage operations while effectively partnering with the homebuilder and fulfillment center to achieve targeted capture, service & revenue goals.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Trains builder sales professionals on the benefits of Pulte Mortgage, selling the value of PMC, overcoming objections, and ensuring the effective use of expanded customer inquiry tools, online application process, and post-application tools for tracking customer status
- Recruits, onboards, trains, and develops local PMC staff
- Captures every possible loan application for Pulte Mortgage at point of sale (capture)
- Participates actively in builder homebuyer and realtor events designed to generate community interest (e.g., grand openings)
- In coordination with local builder and PMC fulfillment teams, drives and achieves outstanding (PMC) buyer experience scores
- In coordination with PMC fulfillment center and local Builder team, daily responsibility for achieving outstanding "close on time" percentages
- Attends all community and leadership meetings as a member of the division senior operating team
- Pairs with fulfillment center to manage the integrity of the division's PMC backlog and communicate status and risk with division sales & management team
- Responsible for subdivision approvals
- Maintains detailed reporting covering all aspects of branch operations
- Maintains profit motive, responsible for branch financial performance
- Responsible for attaining required mortgage licenses
- Responsible for assigned communities and has direct customer interaction
Management Responsibilities
- Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs
- Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent
- Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills
- Evaluates employee’s performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance
- Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities
- Creates opportunities for employee growth
- Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)

Required Education/Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of related mortgage experience
Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications
- Valid Driver's License due to driving being an essential function of this position
