About the role
Maintains mortgage loan activities in a branch office. Solicits and originates investment quality loans that meet the company's standards and investor requirements.
Responsibilities
- Sells the company’s loan products and services to realtors, builders, home buyers, financial planners, and others.
- Provides mortgage loan information and recommends product options to customers.
- Coordinates the origination process from application to closing for residential loans.
- Recruits new loan officers for the branch.
- Monitors trends and developments in the local real estate market and changes to private and government-insured mortgages.
- Ensures compliance with all lending policies and regulations.
- Coaches and develops team members.
- Manages daily and weekly/monthly review goals.
- Assists with managing influx of new production volume.
- Provides high-level customer service during loan origination.
- Attends and participates in all Monthly Awards Ceremonies, Corporate Gatherings, Sales Calls, and Training Events.
- Reads all newsletters and bulletins to stay current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales lending experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge in lending and credit markets.
- Some recruiting experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
- Active NMLS License (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System).
- Superiority general computer and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a CRM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams).
- Experience with Empower (or similar Loan Origination System).
- Participates in additional training on sales, technology, products, procedures, and pricing.

Schedule
- Shift: 8 hours, Monday through Friday.
- General Business Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
