About the Role
The Pest Control Service Technician inspects and removes pests from residences and businesses in a timely, responsive, and courteous manner, providing an excellent client service experience to customers. This role involves working with restricted products and materials, maintaining customer documentation, and recommending additional services to support sales opportunities in the service territory.
Responsibilities
- Inspects and removes pests from residences and businesses.
- Uses restricted products and materials in strict accordance with manufacturer labels, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.
- Maintains customer documentation on product usage and scope of services.
- Recommends additional services to customers and identifies sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of insurability.
- Ability to pass background screening, including a criminal history check.
- Lives within the service territory (Springfield and Hartford metro areas).

- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Friendly, helpful disposition and ability to work with all types of personalities.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work autonomously and as a team player.
- Commitment to ongoing training and technology savviness.
- Solid writing and oral communication skills.
- Massachusetts and Connecticut applicator licenses are a plus (training provided for the right candidate).
Preferred Experience
- 1 year of Licensed Pesticide Technician experience.
- MA and CT Pesticide Applicator License.
Pay
$38,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
