Moonlighting Physician – Adjoint Assistant Professor (0.025 FTE)

Job Summary

The Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a part-time academic hospitalist at the Assistant Professor level to join our vibrant hospitalist group practicing, and teaching Hospital Medicine. This role is structured as a 0.025 FTE appointment, with shifts scheduled based on departmental needs and physician availability.

Key Responsibilities

• providing inpatient clinical care
• teaching students, including Advanced Practice Fellows
• completing administrative obligations

Work Location

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Adjoint Assistant Professor: MD or DO
• Minimum 1 year of professional clinical experience

Anticipated Pay Range

• Compensation on a per shift basis: $1,250 for each day shift worked
• $1,350 for each swing shift worked
• $1,500 for each night shift worked
