About the role

Data collection specialist for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA).

Responsibilities

  • Collect crop and livestock information from farm and ranch operators and agricultural industry representatives.
  • Conduct both phone and in-person interviews to gather agricultural data.
  • Use collected data to make estimates for producers, buyers, and state and federal governments.

Requirements

  • Part-time and intermittent work schedule with flexible days and hours.
  • All training provided.
  • No prior experience necessary, but an agriculture background is helpful.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • An iPad will be provided for work.
  • Multilingualism is a plus but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required.
  • Work is based in Blaine and Hill Counties.
  • The work involves conducting voluntary surveys for operators.
  • You must be able to pass a background check.
