About the role

Wythe County Community Hospital is seeking a Monitor Tech who will perform cardiac telemetry on patients within the Emergency Department. In addition, the position will perform administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac telemetry on patients within the Emergency Department.
• Support administrative and clerical duties in the assigned area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Coursework in Medical Terminology and Telemetry.
• Previous secretarial experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and telemetry.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

• Hourly range: $14.41 - $17.79 per hour.
