Monitor Technician-Central Telemetry Part Time Days

About the role

This position requires successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework or 1 year of previous cardiac monitoring experience. The Monitor Technician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the cardiac monitors of patients
• Identify abnormal and normal rhythms
• Promptly report cardiac rhythm and rate changes
• Maintain accurate record keeping
• Possess effective communication skills
• Demonstrate basic computer skills

Schedule

Part-time, 48 hours per pay period, day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework or 1 year of previous cardiac monitoring experience
• CPR – Basic Life Support
