Monitor Technician - Central Telemetry - Full Time Nights (7pm-7:30am)
Responsibilities
- Makes sure patients' heartbeats are being watched carefully.
- Looks at the machine that watches patients' hearts and tells someone if something isn't right.
- Takes pictures of patients' hearts when needed.
- Checks if the machine is working properly and tells people if there are any problems.
- Knows what the patients need and gives them special care based on that.
- Communicates with patients, parents, or caregivers in a way they can understand.
- Does other things the team might ask them to do.
Qualifications
- Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Has at least 2 years of work experience in health-related fields.
- Has at least 1 year of experience in cardiology-related fields.
- Completes a monitor technician course at any hospital and passes the HUMC Dysrhythmia Challenge Exam within 6 months of hiring.
- Has experience using computers.

Some positions may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
