Monitor Tech - Telemetry

Responsibilities

• Maintains cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Communicates with patients and healthcare team members as needed.
• Transcribes physician orders when CPOE and EMR systems are unavailable.
• Verifies the completion of lab tests and radiology tests.
• Prepares and complies patient records in the Emergency Room.
• Orders and prepares necessary supplies for the unit.
• Completes patient charts for required forms daily.
• Aids nursing staff with indirect patient care duties, under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire.
• Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $17.46 to $25.29 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection.
