Monitor/a en Campo (Lagos de Moreno, Mexico)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Monitor to join our team for a 6-month season (September 2026 – February 2027). This role is ideal for agronomists, biologists, or related professionals who want to contribute temporarily to our operations, providing monitoring services for berry production in the Lagos de Moreno, León, and Silao regions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of flowering and crop development by conducting flower and fruit counts.
• Mark plants, branches, and sampling points in the field according to technical instructions.
• Perform fruit quality measurements (size, weight, seed count) and participate in experimental harvests.
• Capture images and collect GPS coordinates for georeferencing data.
• Record field data in mobile applications and/or spreadsheets, ensuring data quality and backup.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of experimental trials in the field according to established protocols.
• Maintain a logbook of field activities as a technical backup.
• Comply with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with beekeepers in the management and transportation of hives.
• Supervise the proper preparation and application of syrup and technologies for hive feeding.

Schedule

6-month seasonal contract (September 2026 – February 2027).
