Molecular Director Pediatric Pathology - Faculty - Associate Professor
About the role
This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative team of pediatric specialists, including seven pediatric pathologists, a hematopathologist, a neuropathologist, and two clinical PhDs who serve as directors of Microbiology/Virology, Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, and Biochemical Genetics.
- Enjoy exclusive membership and access to the MCW Mellowes Center for Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine.
- Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology & other pediatric specialty fellows.
- Thrive in a pediatric-centered environment with the multisite CW Laboratories, which perform over one million tests annually.
- Participate in clinical, translational, or basic science research with protected time to advance your work.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) MD/DO or PhD Board certification or eligibility in Laboratory Genetics or Genomics Unrestricted State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
