Pediatric Pathologist - Faculty - Assistant Professor
About the role
The Division of Pediatric Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WII at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus.
Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative team of pediatric pathologists & laboratory specialists that handles over 6,500 surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens annually.
- Experience a diverse case mix in pediatric pathology, including solid tumor pathology, hematopathology, flow cytometry, vascular malformations, and perinatal/placental pathology with shared call and autopsy coverage.
- Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology & other pediatric specialty fellows.
- Thrive in a pediatric-centered environment with the multisite CW Laboratories, which perform over one million tests annually.
- Participate in clinical, translational, or basic science research with protected time to advance your work.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in pediatric pathology. Unrestricted State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
