Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate and support the automated systems in the RDTH lab.
- Communicate with other scientists from other research areas as well as other lab/team members regarding scheduling, processing, and delivery assays.
- Takes initiative to record and communicate deviations in SOPs of assays to any scientists who may be affected by said deviations.
- Prepare written technical reports.
- Perform basic data analysis as assigned.
- Aid in training.
Requirements
- Strong aseptic technique.
- Experience in cell culture and general molecular biology laboratory techniques.
- Ability to prepare various buffer solutions in bulk as needed.
- Familiarity with automation and liquid handling platforms.
- Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines.
- Individual and Team work ethic.
- Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Biology, Molecular Biology or closely related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience with biochemical techniques and liquid handlers.

Pay

Schedule
Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
