Job Summary

Elevate your career in Worcester, MA! A Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader is seeking a highly motivated Biologist II to join their CHO Cell Line Development team for an exciting 1-year contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain flow cytometry and instrumentation within the development labs.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and clear laboratory documentation in strict compliance with GxP standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with bioprocess development teams to drive project goals and accelerate pipeline timelines.
• Participate actively in the laboratory's 5S program to ensure safe, smooth, and effective daily operations.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Cell/Molecular Biology or a closely related scientific field with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in molecular biology techniques, including molecular cloning, PCR-based assays, gene expression, and sequencing analysis.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and troubleshooting abilities paired with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• With fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and digital PCR assays.
• Knowledge of genome editing technologies (CRISPR/Cas9) and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms.
