Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development, and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device industries.
About the role
This position supports manufacturing operations at our Menomonie, Wisconsin facility. Shifts available: D1 12-hour day shift (5am–5pm) with a 4% shift differential on top of base pay.
Responsibilities
- Set up, start up, and change over production jobs consistent with process control capabilities and quoted standards (may include robotics, part pickers, and vision systems).
- Set up and operate job-related equipment including molding machines, lift trucks, overhead cranes, and power mold carts.
- Use proper process procedure documentation and databases for performing routine set-up functions and troubleshooting work.
- Evaluate molding processes to update techniques and improve quality, safety, and productivity efficiencies; ensure processes fall within validated windows or established guidelines.
- Communicate important information to Mold Techs on the next shift.
- Work with the production group to meet production demands.
- Support programs that may have vision requirements.
Requirements
- 6 months of mechanical/troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with injection molding.
Qualifications
What will put you ahead:
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Experience working in SAP.
