About the Role

We are seeking an Injection Molding Technician to work in our manufacturing department to mold various plastic parts that are used in a variety of upper extremity medical devices such as electro-mechanical hands, wrists, and elbows.

Responsibilities

• Have a fundamental understanding of how an injection molding machine works and the ability to safely and effectively operate the machine
• Meticulously monitor the process, inspect products for quality, and spot any anomalies
• Utilize quality standards and practices to ensure good workmanship is achieved and identify any defective items and handle them according to established quality procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions and safety protocols
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained on the job
• Basic proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, cordless drills)

Qualifications

• Lifting and carrying: The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. to move objects, including heavy molds or materials, is required
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination: Important for tasks involving machine operation, part inspection, and tool usage
• Physical stamina: Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive movements
