What you will be doing:
- Operate machines or assembly equipment to make parts or products.
- Read work orders, work instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
- Maintain production documentation.
- Position and secure inserts, hand load and work pieces on machines.
- Remove finished products from machines, using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.
- Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain Techniplas and customer quality standards.
- Fill in appropriate information on labels and associated documentation needed on products when necessary.
- Final packaging of products for shipment.
- Perform clean-up procedures.
- Perform re-work duties as assigned.
- Relieve other operators for breaks as needed.
Qualifications:
- A high school education, diploma, or GED with an interest in manufacturing.
- A performance-driven, team-oriented and client-focused attitude/demeanor.
- Good written/verbal communication skills and an impressive work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A strong mechanical/technical aptitude or background with a willingness to learn.
- The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions in English.
- The ability to work standing for an entire shift with frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
