Molding Operator

Operations

• Operation of all molding machines: Loading contacts / inserts, trimming gates and flash, packaging parts.
• Operates auxiliary equipment: Using trim, degating tools and measuring equipment.
• Accurately maintains logs and creates packaging as needed.
• Inspects parts using magnification and other equipment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintains a good teamwork attitude.
• Sands, trims and performs other off-line duties as required.
• Fills in logs, maintains lot & scrap control and follows other procedures.
• Uses good housekeeping and safety practices.

Skills

• Some mechanical ability.
• Basic switch and control operation.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Handling small parts with tweezers and other means.
• Inspecting for small defects on parts.
