About the role

Molding Operator - Responsible for operating molding machines to produce various plastic products.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding machines to produce plastic products according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operation for efficiency and safety.
• Adjust settings on machines as needed to ensure quality control.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in manufacturing or similar field.
• Basic knowledge of plastics and injection molding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Experience with quality assurance procedures.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

The Molding Operator works a rotating shift schedule, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work.
