Responsibilities

• Perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard.
• Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part.
• Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging.
• Perform in-process quality checks and communicate non-conformances to proper personnel.
• Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities.
• Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.

Requirements

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools
• Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs
• Steel toed shoes are required on the production floor

Schedule

• 2nd shift 1:45pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday
• Overtime as needed either after shift or on Saturdays

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00/hr. (plus an 8% shift differential)
• Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training
• Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience
