Mold Utility C shift

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional, functional testing, and visual quality checks according to appropriate procedures.
  • Communicate non-conforming material (defects) to the quality group and management.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork/documentation for the products being molded.
  • Pack finished products into cartons and bags and affix content labels.
  • Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform line clearances of effected equipment at end of and prior to production run.
  • Ensure all labels are correct according to the work order information.
  • Record problems which occurred during production, such as defects found, statistical sampling results, reason for stoppages.
  • As requested, assist other team members in cross-training and conduct on the job training of other associates.
  • Transport all in-process and finished materials by hand, tallyho, forklift or other available means necessary in order to maintain production.
  • Must be able to cycle count inventory and help investigate discrepancies.
  • Responsible for the containment of rejected raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods.
  • Will be responsible for organization, retrieval from warehouse stock locations and proper storage of raw materials at workstations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties as associated with job functions.
  • Actively participate in the Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 5S, blitzes and Shift Start-up.
  • Continuously improve through the KAS and Safety program, meeting department goals.
  • Work to maintain a clean & organized workplace environment (5s) to include the disposal of scrap totes and containment of material around ancillary equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED- Preferred
  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED
  • Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities (KSA’s): Computer Skills, Organizational Skills, Written and Oral communication Skills, Math Skills

  • Transport and containment of all materials needed to support production.
  • Immediate work area to be kept clean.
  • Quality products produced per manufacturing documents.
  • Accurate documentation.
  • Raw and finished material transactions with proper documentation of required data to guide logistics, quality, production and finance systems.
  • Compliance to production reporting guidelines utilizing MES.
