Mold Shop Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation
• Review bottle quality and mold equipment operating data
• Analyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changes
• Be responsible for the department’s preventive maintenance program
• Conduct periodic inspections
• Manage department KPI’s
• Ensure correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followed
• Oversee Mold Maker apprenticeship programs

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred
• Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desired
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
• Strong mechanical background
• Prior mold shop operation experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP desired
• Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross‑functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Ability to support job changes and improvement initiatives
• Project management skills

Pay

Salary range: $115,000 – $125,000, with a possible 12% short‑term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on candidate experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
